The Town of Branson has established the Branson Water System Fund as a separate category for accounting purposes. These monies will be specifically earmarked for the 2019 Branson Water System Upgrade Project.

According to the IRS, “Charitable contributions to governmental units are deductible under Section 170(c) (1) of the Internal Revenue Code if made for a public purpose.”

What if you raise more than $100K?

Any proceeds raised above our goal of $100,000 will go towards paying down our existing $180,000 USDA loan from our previous system upgrade.

Are There Other Ways I Can Contribute?

Helping us to spread the word through social media, email lists, or simply telling friends and family about the fundraising campaign, is an important part of our efforts. Also, if you have any vehicles, equipment or other higher-value items that you may be willing to donate, contact us as we may consider taking such items to auction to benefit this effort.
